Christmas Stockings for dogs and cats usually come pre filled with treats and toys that someone at a head office, somewhere, has decided should be in them.

This year we are offering plush Christmas stockings for £3 that you can then fill with any treat, toy or accessory or any combination and we will give you 10% off the total cost of the whole package. We will even throw in a FREE sample of APL dog food. Use it as food or use it as treats for dogs or cats.

The only stipulation is that the treats and toys or any accessory you like really, must all be able to fit in the stocking (sticking out the top is fine – we are not like the council bin men!)

If you can’t get in to the store then have a look on the web site and decide what you want then give us a ring and we will fill the stocking for you and arrange delivery. As usual, local delivery is FREE, UK wide delivery will be £5.

Cool Mats and Chill Out

Cool Mats and Chill Out bones and Chill Out balls to keep your pet cool this summer. We stock a range of products to help combat heat stress in dogs and other pets during hot weather.

The Cool Mats do not need to go in the fridge or freezer but remain 5 – 10 degrees cooler than ambient temperature through the pressure of the pet laying on them. They remain cool for up to an hour of constant use and to recharge simply need to be left unused. The non toxic gel leaves the mat ready to use in one hour.

Cool Mats come in a range of sizes and can be used again and again and simply wipe clean. Many animals suffer from heat stress in hot weather, particularly dogs and cats but also smaller animals such as rabbits and ferrets. Cool Mats come in sizes to suit all.

Paws On Patrol 2015

Paws On Patrol is a community project administered by Safer Gloucester that has been running successfully in Gloucester since 2012. It is a project aimed at reducing the opportunities for crime and anti-social behaviour to occur, reducing the fear of crime especially in the vulnerable and building a community spirit where dog walkers can contribute towards the protection of their neighbourhood.

You can register for the Paws On Patrol Scheme form their website. Each year they hold an event in Gloucester park to promote the scheme and bring the dog walking community together. It’s a great day out for the family, free to attend and this year we have a stand at the event where we will be giving away a couple of hundred goody bags FREE on afirst come first served basis.

Paws On Patrol 2015 is being held in Gloucester park on the 16th May 2015 between 12pm and 5pm. There will be a large number of attractions including displays from the police dogs (attack and passive searching), agility displays and this year they have the Quack Pack – collies herding ducks as well as a free to enter fun dog show.

Pop down and see us at Paws On Patrol 2015 and pick up a goody bag. We will probalby have a few bits of doggy stuff for sales as well but not too much as it’s only a few hundred yards from the shop!
